====== Apple Watch Limitations ======

Apple does not currently allow third-party apps to offer additional watch faces beyond those that are built-in to watchOS.

There is a way to turn any GIF into a "Live Photo" that the watch will animate when waking or on long press. WatchMaker uses this feature to create ultra smooth watch face animations from the biggest watch face collection in the world (40,000+ faces!).

This still does not allow any special features or "code" support. Hence complications such as step count, compass or interactive elements are not available to developers.

If you have other watch type (e.g. WearOS, Samsung Gear), the options here will be available.

Once Apple provides full support for custom faces to developers, WatchMaker will add even more options in the future!
